Heading up to Oregon to finalize some papers for umuima LLC. Sam Jones is going to finish off the next 30-40 pages of the script while I’m gone, and then we’ll be in the long anticipated re-writing stage… Again. While I’m up there I’ll also be doing some early location scouting around Oregon. It’s beautiful and sparse up there, and I think it would be a great place to transplant our story to. Recently I’ve been trying not to overthink things. It’s easy to get carried away and lose all sight of what you want. I’m constantly reminding myself to sometimes allow my instincts to outweigh my intellect. -micah

This to me feels like a visual representation of what screenwriting is. At least now that we’re heavily underway on the script, many things seem more clear, while others feel more distant or lost. Combining one vision with two other visions is difficult, but I know it will be worth it, even if some pain will be suffered to get there. I trust the people I’ve chosen to work with, and that is something I perceive as a most valuable asset. I’ll say more when there’s more to say. I love this photo. - micah

It’s all in the brainhatch at the moment. Working on the first draft of the script. I’ll be taking a trip soon to really work on it full time ; writing on trains works for me. Gotta cut myself off from all the passive narcissism of the internet…
